I'm reading another book written by a military contractor about what his work was like and who employed him. For some time now the use of contractors has been expanding even by the US.

Don't know what you think about this. But it gives me the Heebie Jeebies when I read about how and what they do.

From and article by Atlantic written by a contractor -

What made my presence in that room notable: I was not a member of the CIA. Nor was I covert U.S. military operative or government employee. I came, instead, from the private sector––a contractor to many, a mercenary to some.
