More about healthy eating by Dr. Rob Thompson

I'm continuing to explore information by Dr. Rob Thompson. I particularly like his recommendations for sugar blockers. He recommends eating foods with a low glycemic load.

I was surprised he does not recommend eating Oatmeal.

In one study, scientists fed volunteers instant oatmeal every day for six weeks and compared their food intake to a group fed eggs and fruit. The group that ate the oatmeal consumed 80 percent more calories during the rest of the day than the group fed eggs.

In the following URL he gives an overview of some foods he does and does not recommend.

Thought some of you would find this interesting too.

Take care. :D
