on the Mahindra tractor. Had a problem in the first 4 or 5 with a bad battery clamp, the dealer sent a guy out to replace the clamp and the thing is running great, although I am not accustomed to the diesel being so loud. It is rated at 55 hp. Sure nice having a cab with heat and air conditioning. Mahindra sure isn't cheap on the service though. Got the 50 hr thing done. They changed all fluids and filters everywhere, axles, trans, engine hyrdraulic etc. Came to $900. I coaxed a lot of years and hours out of the old Ford 4000, but it got to the point, I spent more time fixing it than using it to farm. That tractor and I spent a lot of hours together over the past 20 years. Still miss it ... just a little. Odd how mechanical contraptions grow on you.
