Our dear friend, Ret, passed away yesterday..

He had been in a rehab care place for about a month I think, and early last week he told me he was going home on Thursday. He was very happy with that but I was worried as he needed someone with him all day and night too. His mind was in top shape and I knew because we texted.

When I did not hear from him on Friday, on Saturday I texted him a pic of my flowering Mandevilla vine but still did not get a reply. His daughter texted me the sad sad news.

Ret was 91 years old..

I will certainly miss Ret. He was a model of sanity, and a real class act. Rest in peace, my friend.

Patria-- thanks for letting us know, but more importantly for keeping in touch with him and making his last days better. You're another model of sanity and a real class act, and the world needs more like you in it.

Yeah, thank you Patria. REt was genuine and down-to-earth. He appreciated the Golden Retriever. REt has been missed on this Forum, and will be missed. Mark. "Blessings on the sheep dog."

Awe man. Awe hell. That old boy made his place. At least it was made known that he has passed. RIP, Mr. Ret.

Thanks for letting us know Patria.
