I don't back read posts all that much lately, but I'm still constantly curious.

Are them creeks on your homestead land still running dry?

Our little creek on the south border is a dry creek bed but often has water, or you could say our wet creek bed on the south is often dry

North creek is big and full of water

Canoes make it easy to transport game. Gotta know where your going though. Sometimes the water ain't that deep.

Sometimes a tarp will suffice. Moving water is great though. My hope for you is that I'd like to see you generate your own power... on the old homestead. Your own retreat.
